Bux.to is the most famous PTC services on the web but even though they are popular that does not mean their service is that good after all. I did some researches and I came up with the result that most of the reports that pretend bux.to to be a working service are related to a bux.to referral links. There are only some who tell the truth, so I summed up my knowledge here.

Bux.to is the most famous PTC service on the web, they pay you for visiting advertises. I tried their service on my own and I thought about even investigating in their program but the I found out some facts about their services I had not thought about before. That is the reason why I decided to leave their service and why I do not sign up with any other PTC service anymore. Keep in your mind most of those PTC sites are based on the idea of an referral system, therefore there are only a view who tell the real truth about those systems, as most try to reach more and more referrals instead of marking the things they bother with. So I did some researches and wrote this report to inform my readers why I do not recommend investigating in those PTC services, also they might pay out in short term.

Profusehost.net is a free webhosting company I worked for as an Moderator. But after about half a year they switched servers and as they no longer offered the features my website requires I canceled my job. To thank my for all my work the Administrator wrote me a recommendation.

Profusehost.net is the free webhosting service from psychz.net. During the time I was hosted on their servers they offered a lot of features other hosts do not offer to their free clients, like ssh access, ruby on rails and even python. It was a great time and I also became Moderator in their forum to help John the Administrator. But then one time the server disappeared, I contacted the staff at psychz.net and they told be that they had to replace the server and that all those features I came for would not be available on that new server. This decision made me very sad, so I canceled my job as an Moderator in their forum and asked John to write me a review about my work. So here it is the reputation I got (click here)! So here it is the recommendation I got (click here)!

ipaper

ipaper is a wonderful flash application to present documents like .doc , .xls or .pdf files on the web. The application is developed by scribd.com, but in most cases it is very difficult to integrate, because it requires that much space. So I though about this issue a long time and finally came up with an idea.

Now as I finished my blog, I want to present a new feature to you. The seamless pdf viewer: “ipaper” developed by scribd and not by Apple as you may thought. ipaper is a whole new way to present documents, no matter what kind of documents .pdf, .xls or .doc . They developed a nice flash application which renders all these documents to a special flash based format. But there is one thing most people do not like about this document viewer, that is the style.

You can not integrate such a flash application in a webpage without loosing either style or functionality.

I thought about this issue for quite a while because in my opinion ipaper is the perfect combination between print and web for professional publishing on the web. So, as I designed my movie trailer siteduring that time I came up with the idea why not integrate ipaper into lightbox ? It would be the perfect combination, because people can read the documents in fullscreen mode while the page layout is still the same. You only need a single link like:

To integrate ipaper within your website, but apart any other solution it also looks really great. By the way the document is called “Car negie Mech” published by http://www.me.cmu.edu/ .

Do you like this way of presenting documents ? Do you want to add it to your site as well ? It is really simple and can even be done in Wordpress. You only need a modified version of Lightbox or simply you need mediabox from Iaian7, it is a already modified version and fits my needs perfectly.

So I am going to use this feature to present my works on this blog. If you have any ideas how to optimize the ipaper integration feel free to leave a comment.
